Based in Frankfurt, Josef’s background was with the German Federal Police where, following a period in the uniform branch, he joined the Criminal Investigation Department.
For a number of years he specialised in the investigation of the drugs and arms smuggling trade.
On leaving the police service in 1992 Josef worked as a self employed investigator in the private sector serving the needs of a number of large multi-national companies throughout Europe.
Josef has extensive experience and knowledge of both investigations and other security related projects within Germany. He is conversant in English.
VLADMIR VYSKOC, Managing Director, Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Born and now based in Bratislava, Vladimir is a graduate who left the police force in 1998 after 25 years as an investigator. His last position was as the Director of the National Anti-Drug Services, in the rank of Colonel.
Since 1999 Vladimir has been the managing director of Pinkerton in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The office covers the full range of Pinkerton Consulting and Investigative services, with emphasis on fraud investigation, brand protection and due diligence.
Vladimir and his team work also in Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and the countries of the former Soviet Union.
Vladimir speaks fluent Russian, English and German in addition to the languages of the former Czechoslovakia.
KENT RASMUSSON, Associate Director, Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations, Sweden.
Kent Rasmusson manages Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations operations in the Nordic countries and is based in Stockholm.
Initially he worked for 20 years in various capacities in the Swedish Police Force and the Swedish National Police Board as a Detective Inspector. His main expertise was in criminal intelligence and investigations focusing on organised economic crimes such as money laundering.
He then became Vice President of Corporate Security for ASTRA, the Swedish pharmaceutical company, from 1992 to 1997. In this position he built up a worldwide corporate security organisation and implemented corporate security policies throughout the company.
Kent Rasmusson speaks English and some French and German. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and is a board member of the ASIS Swedish Chapter.
